For 2022, Derby Day will form part of the four day Jubilee weekend to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, making this historic event even more of a special occasion.
Friday 3 June is known as Ladies’ Day, an opportunity to dress in your most stylish attire and enjoy some spectacular racing.
For 2022 this Friday will be an additional bank holiday as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Saturday 4 June is Derby Day – expect big drama and history in the making.

Either black or grey morning dress with a top hat, service dress or full national costume is obligatory for gentlemen on Derby Day.
Ladies must wear formal day dress, or a tailored trouser suit, with a hat or substantial fascinator. Children should be dressed smartly.
