Mexico returned to the Formula 1 calendar in 2015 and it has proved to be hugely popular with home fans since.
Mexico City is a fantastic destination for the race, featuring Aztec ruins, 17th century palaces and top class museums.
Lewis Hamilton won the 2019 Mexican Grand Prix ahead of Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel, with Hamilton’s Mercedes teammate Valteri Bottas completing the podium in third place.
