Each year the world’s elite cyclists compete across 21 stages over 23 days as the world famous Tour de France takes place around the country. In 2022 the Grand Depart will take place in Denmark, as Copenhagen hosts 3 stages.
With stages testing every aspect of the rider’s skills it will be fascinating to see who will emerge as the front runners.
British riders have enjoyed huge success in recent years. Could we see another British victory in 2022 or will a new name take the yellow jersey all the way to the final stage on the Champs-Élysées in Paris?
